Our heart is for our children to have a relationship with Jesus Christ that will last them a lifetime.  
We are here to teach them how to grow in their relationship with Him while partnering with the parent
as you disciple them at home. We have many different opportunities for our children to learn more about Jesus.

SUNDAYS

Rooted Kids is the Children’s Ministry at Mount Olive First PH Church for Newborns up to 5th grade. Our purpose is for each child who walks through our doors to Know, Grow and Go. First and most important that every child knows Jesus as their personal Savior. Next, we are helping them to grow in their relationship with Him and that they are not afraid and are prepared to go and tell others about Him. One of our favorite verses is found in  Colossians 2:6-7  "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." We know we can't do this on our own, therefore, we want to partner with you, the parent, to help that verse be true in your student's lives.

Safety

We want you to feel comfortable when you leave your child in our care. In order for you to do this, we have created a secure check-in and check out system, a safety team in place, we also require each volunteer to have an extensive background check before being able to volunteer. This may seem like a lot, but we want you know that your child is important to us.

Small Groups

We have a large group and small group setting.  Small groups allow the children an opportunity to dive deeper into the story and spend some time in prayer as well.  Our small groups are broken down by grade.

Partner with Parents

Our goal is to help you as the parent to train up your child in the way that they should go , so that when they are older they don't depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). We want to partner with you as you raise your child and teach them to become rooted in their relationship with Christ. We do this by being your personal cheerleader, by providing weekly resources that go along with the lesson, and by sending monthly emails with devotionals for you to do with your child.

GIRLS MINISTRY

Mpact Girls Club is a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Mpact Girls Clubs provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders. With the addition of Sunlight Kids (birth through 36 months), Mpact clubs now include five clubs–two for preschool boys and girls and three for elementary girls. Watch for more information on the newest club.
The Fivefold Purpose of Girls' Ministries sums it up best. Memorize it and live by it if you are working with girls (and boys in the youngest clubs); let it become your self-evaluation as well.
